  • Who requires an audit?

    Small and medium companies in Ireland qualify for the audit exemption form statutory audits. If your B1 annual return is submitted late, this exemption is lost and your company will be required to submit two years audited financial statements to the CRO.

  • Can a company choose to be audited?

    If the board of directors choose to wave the audit exemption then a full statutory audit is required. Some groups, clubs and charities choose to have their books and records audited to give comfort to their members. 

  • Do charities require audits?

    Some charities are required to preform an annual audit on their books and requires with results forwarded to the charities regulator.
